Gaming Gift Ideas for Christmas
Christmas is getting ever closer and the Christmas decorations are starting to be put up. Although Christmas is one of the best times of the year, there is one part that most people hate, the shopping.
The worst part is having to buy for kids, you have to buy the latest thing and make sure they like it, otherwise it won't be used, especially if you're buying computer games. To steer you in the right direction, there are some great games you could buy this holiday season.
Band Hero
The latest game from the makers of the Guitar Hero series, Band Hero brings the entire family together. If you want a better family Christmas and you can live with a little bit of noise, Band Hero is a great gift to buy. Although the payment for the drums, guitar and mic is expensive, the controllers are compatible with all other music games.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
You can't really go wrong with the biggest game of the year. Perfect for any first person shooter fans, Modern Warfare 2 is the most popular game to play. The game has an amazing storyline, although it is quite short, however, the game compensates by having a brilliant multiplayer. With a game that's this good, it's quite hard to go wrong.
DJ Hero
Another music game now, DJ Hero is another game from the makers of Guitar Hero. This time you drop the guitar for some decks. The only problem with the game is that the DJ Deck controller can only be used on the DJ Hero games, which there is only one. However, if you're living with an aspiring DJ, it's the ideal gift to buy.
Tony Hawks: RIDE
The latest Tony Hawks game, only released last week and it's their best yet. The game comes alongside a skateboard controller, similar to the Wii Balance Board. The game is great fun to play and getting the hang of the game isn't hard, even if you've never ridden a skatebaord. Just like DJ Hero, the expensive controller can only be used with the Tony Hawks game, I can only hope that more games will be released to use this controller.

Nikon D5100 kit hits Best Buy shelves early, still costs $900 (Engadget)
Eagerly waiting for some swivel screen action on the upcoming Nikon D5100?
Well friend, you just got lucky, as said camera has just hit the shelves of
Best Buy a few days early. The mid-range DSLR kit is now up for grabs either
online or in stores for $900, but we expect Nikon to start shipping body-only
options soon after -- Amazon and Adorama are already taking pre-orders for
$800. Unfortunately, it looks like the accompanying ME-1 external mic won't be
here until the original April 21st launch (or so we hope), but we're sure all
Nikonians will be just fine without it over the next four days. Now go check
out your local Best Buy to nab one of these swivelicious cameras.
