Top 10 Tips For Increasing One Way Link Building
The intense promotion of a website generates free search engine traffic. It requires time, effort and long-term planning in order to get top rankings for a page. Sometimes it is pretty easy to get overwhelmed by all the one way link building tips and tutorials you find on different sites that assist individuals and companies with their development. You don't have to implement all the strategies possible overnight, it is essential to prioritize and make improvements progressively.
Great content contributes to an increase of free search engine traffic. All search engines love information because this is the essence of the Internet and what web surfers look for. Before you try to attract free search engine traffic, you should check how your website works. Sometimes, design makes a a difference because visitors prefer attractive, easy to use platforms that neither assault their eyes nor challenge their Internet operational skills. A common mistake is to create fancy websites with very advanced JavaScript code that is difficult to index by search engines.
This is one of the reasons why you don't get enough free search engine traffic: the search engine spiders don't go that deep inside the structure of your site. Simple straightforward sites work just fine and you don't have to go into intricacies to attract web visitors. When the site looks good for visitors, you can start working to make it appealing for search engines too. Meet this condition and the much coveted high page rank is yours.
You can further increase free search engine traffic with effective link building. Submit your website to major indexes like Yahoo or Open directory and you'll see that you get more visitors. If you optimize the submission well enough, these indexes are worth every cent. Yahoo listings are not easy to work with, but once you learn the craft, your effort will be repaid. You should be aware of the fact that these listings are not free and you'll pay around $300 with Yahoo per year. Yet, many consider this way of attracting free search engine traffic worthy of the investment.
Other effective link building strategies of website promotion can use Yahoo Search Marketing or Google Adwords. They are viable pay-per-click systems and they have high return on investment for well optimized web pages. Thus, you should be able to keep the page ranking high and the costs low, provided you get top-notch keywords. Focus exclusively on free search engine traffic strategies if you can't use an advertising budget just yet.
Insert Coin: Timelapse+ is the intervalometer you've been waiting for (video) (Engadget)
_In Insert Coin, we look at an exciting new tech project that requires funding
before it can hit production. If you'd like to pitch a project, please send us
a tip with "Insert Coin" as the subject line._
That timelapse masterpiece you've been planning just got a whole lot less
daunting thanks to Elijah Parker over at Kickstarter. Go through a few
niceties, like handing over at least $99 and helping him reach his $20,000
funding target, and you'll take proud ownership of a Timelapse+ (previously
called the Timelapse Pro) -- a photographer's intervalometer that does a lot
to deserve its name. It'll come with a choice of adapters to match the
standard cable release on your DSLR (or even SLR, if that's how you roll), and
once hooked up it'll let you configure everything from delayed starts to
incremental exposures and even multiple exposures per interval for a much-
needed dose of HDR. The firmware will be open source to leave scope for user
mods, and there'll also be the option of a Bluetooth interface for wireless
controls -- although that'll require an extra $40 and a smidgen of FCC
approval. The video after ...
