Butane Powered Vaporizers - Iolite Classic & Iolite WISPR Portable
Sshhhh! The WISPR vaporizer is without a doubt the next-generation of butane-fueled vaporiser from Eire maker, Oglesby & Servant, the creators of the first really transportable vape in 2008 regarded as the Iolite. This time O&B has taken a time machine back to the 1970's with their "walkie-talkie" design on the WISPR. This hookah is a bit bigger and squarer than the futuristic-style style and design of the Iolite. Weighing in at 126 grams (4.5oz), the WISPR is readily available in 5 different designs.
The WISPR vaporizer incorporates 2 manuals, one carrying bag, 1 packing tool, one individual moisture condenser, 1 group ofscreens, cleansing equipment and two additional mouthpieces. Although the outward appearance of the WISPR could make one presume it's a precursor to the Iolite, the WISPR resolves plenty of the concerns of Iolite individuals.
Device itself releases fewer hot temperatures:
Firstly, the WISPR is not as warm to the touch as the Iolite, which makes it more at ease to hold in your hand for any period of time. It also makes this transportable vaporizer more appealing to tote around and use on a busy schedule. The WISPR will get warm in use, but not uncomfortably so.
New Fuel Level Window:
The very visible fuel level window is an exciting new feature that shows the amount of butane fuel in the vaporiser. No necessity to play guessing games on how much butane is inside. This new feature is astounding, particularly for forgetful stoners like me. One Butane filling of the WISPR appears to last a bit longer than the Iolite as well (more or less 2-3 hours).
Bigger Filling Chamber:
The filling chamber has been made a little larger, and is much easier to fill. The new design places the filling chamber on the attachment, instead of on the device itself, which makes the process of adding your herbs less time-intensive and clumsy. A smoking session will last for almost 15 minutes.
Flexible Mouthpiece:
The new, softer Silicone "straw", with it's cooling tip, leads to a smooth inhaling experience. It can simply be folded into the planning of the WISPR. The planning of the Iolite was not flexible, which makes it a bit awkward to tote around if you're trying hard to be prudent. The mouthpiece of the WISPR folds down which also locks the chamber in, so it can't open in your pocket. The silicone material of the straw is a superb heat insulator. Which is an additional bonus.
Faster Time Reaching Optimal Temperature:
Likely the best feature of the WISPR, and the one which will make it the prime vaporizer on the market in the future, is how swiftly it turns on. With an ingeniously easy two-click button design, the 1st press halfway down delivers the butane to the heating chamber. The following press down starts the heating process. Within two minutes the apparatus reaches, and gradually maintains, the chosen temperature of 190C (347F). An orange temperature control light on the vaporiser indicates optimal temperature when the light switches off.
Creates More Vapor:
The most amazing feature is that the WISPR produces a remarkable quantity of identifiable vapour for its size. The heating regulator keeps a steady temperature, making the amount of vapour consistent without fluctuations. The device is also less loud than it's predecessor, making its ' name well earned.
Conclusion:
Though the WISPR possibly will be the portable vaporizer to beat on the market, like the Iolite, it lacks a customized temperature control feature that allows the temperature to be adjusted. This makes the WISPR's nearly $270 (US) ticket a little less fascinating. You can take me back to the 70's with the design, but , at least take me back to the 90's with the price tag. Or, at least knock off a few bucks till you people at Oglesby & Butler work out that customized temperature control thingy.
