Behringer's Portable 900 Watt PA System - The EPA900
The Behringer Europort EPA900 is a premium PA system that features high mobility (set up in under five minutes).The EPA900 is suitable for live performance in a medium to large sized room or for voice projection over large distances due to the twin 450-Watt amplifiers and custom-designed 2-way loudspeakers. The Behringer Europort EPA900 is easy to move and set up because the unit has a robust case with wheels. All the extra items required for live performance such as a microphone, mic and speaker cables, comes with the standard EPA900 package.
The Behringer EPA900 contains two satellite speakers that feature custom-designed 10" woofers and 1.35" aluminium-diaphragm compression drivers. For the size of the EPA900 it provides great performance sound and fidelity. Channels 1 – 4 of the EPA900 feature Invisible Mic Preamps (IMP), which have been praised for their transparency and headroom. The EPA900 features A Level control with a Clip LED, to set the optimal signal level. The EPA900 allows you to easily handle higher than normal input levels with the pad switch.
The EPA900 includes a 24-bit stereo FX processor with 100 pre-set effects including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter etc. The Behringer EPA900 contains a 7-band stereo graphic EQ and FBQ Feedback Detection System that helps eliminate unwanted noises such as mic squealing.In addition, each input channel has an Effects level control, Balance that is easily placed via the stereo image and a two-band EQ (Bass and Treble).
The EPA900 comes equipped with a 1⁄8" stereo mini-jack for connecting an MP3 player. The EPA900 also contains RCA Tape Out connectors that make it easy to record live performances and has enough mic and line-level inputs to handle a small band.
